FABRIC PHENOLIC LAMINATES
INTRODUCTION
These are laminated sheets made from layers of woven cotton fabrics using themo settting synthetic raisin as the bonding medium. These are graded accoding to coarseness of cloth and electrical properties.
Grades | Characterstics and Applications |
FF2 | General purpose grade with good machinability and mechanical strength. Very good strength and weight ratio. Applications: Shuttles, Gears, Pulleys, Automobile Coupliness |
FF3 | High impact resistance ,good mechanical strength and adequate machinability. Applications:Heavy duty gears,Pulleys,Piling dolly,Workbench tops,rolling mill bearings, etc. |
FF2/ES | Very good dielectric properties and good mechanical strength excellent machinability. Applications:Armature wedges,Generator slot-wedge Insulation,etc. |
